Privacy policy
This website is deliberately plain. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from anyone else while you read it. This policy covers what happens to the details you send us.

Who we are
Affinyx Pty Ltd (ABN 16 688 157 262), Adelaide SA 5000 — “Affinyx”, “we”, “us”. We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What this website collects
Nothing, in the sense most policies mean:
- No cookies are set, on any page.
- No analytics, advertising, tracking pixels or social media widgets run on the site.
- Fonts, images and video come from our own domain, so reading a page sends no request to any other company.
- The enquiry form is the one exception, and only when you send it: it posts what you typed to Web3Forms, who deliver it to us by email. Reading the page sends them nothing.
Our web host keeps ordinary server logs, as every web server does: the requesting IP address, the time, the page and the browser. They exist to serve the site and keep it working, and we do not use them to identify you.
What you send us
Through the form we receive your name, email address, country, any organisation you name, the kind of enquiry you picked and your message. If you email us directly we receive whatever you write.
The form is delivered by Web3Forms, a form-to-email service. They pass the message to our inbox. We do not have an account there holding your details, and nothing you type is stored on this website.
We use it to answer you and to assess enquiries about clinical evaluation, trial sites, collaboration, supply or investment. We keep it while the discussion is live and as a business record afterwards, and we delete it when there is no longer a reason to hold it.
Please do not send patient information
Affinyx is a development-stage device company. We are not a clinic, we do not provide treatment, and we have no reason to hold anyone’s health information.
Do not send us medical records, test results, images or anything else identifying a patient. If we receive health information we did not ask for, we will delete it as soon as we can.
Who else sees it
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not use it for marketing lists.
It is seen inside Affinyx only as far as answering you requires. Beyond that it reaches only Web3Forms, who deliver the form, the service providers who host this site and run our email, professional advisers under a duty of confidence, and anyone the law requires. Those providers operate overseas, including in the United States, so your enquiry may pass through or be stored there.
Your rights
Write to info@affinyx.com to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. We will not charge you for asking, and we will respond within 30 days.
If you think we have mishandled your information, tell us first. If our answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you may also complain to your own supervisory authority.
Changes
If this policy changes we will post the new version here with a new date. The date at the top tells you which version you are reading.
